Happy Mother’s Day!
Today we celebrate God’s gift of moms! We will be looking at the faith of Moses’s mother, Jochebed. Yes, her name is strange for our day, but she was a mother who was a model of great faith and ingenuity. In God’s providence, she helped save her son’s life and the lives of God’s people.
Moses’s faith began with the time he spent with Jochebed. When the time came to make a choice, he “refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter, choosing rather to endure ill-treatment with the people of God than to enjoy the passing pleasures of sin,…” It all started with his faithful mother, Jochebed. We are so thankful for Godly, faithful mothers!

Wow! That’s an understatement to express our feelings about our marvelous trip to Italy, Greece, and Turkey. Denise and I will forever be grateful to our church family for the trip of a lifetime. I look forward to sharing all about it.
I want to especially thank Mike Grogan and Dr. Jeremy Seely for doing an outstanding job preaching God’s word the past two Sundays. We were so glad to be able to join you on Facebook. Well done!
Men’s Breakfast This Saturday
