Our Beliefs:

Lives centered on the Gospel of Christ

"If anyone serves Me, he must follow Me; and where I am, there My servant will be also;

if anyone serves Me, the Father will honor him."

 – John 12:26 (NASB)

Jesus uses the words “follow Me” several times in the gospels to help us to understand that the Christian life is a journey, not just some dusty decision made in days gone by. Following Jesus must be a daily decision. Exhibit A from the lips of the Savior: "If any of you wants to be my follower, you must turn from your selfish ways, take up your cross daily, and follow me. – Luke 9:23 (NLT) What does this “following” look like?

Let me suggest three B’s:

BELIEVE.

This is where the journey begins and continues. "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household." – Acts 16:31 (NASB) Jesus called this being “born again.” If you turn from sin and trust (believe) in Jesus Christ, that He died for your sin and rose from the dead, you will be saved and the very Holy Spirit of Living God will come to live within you to empower you to live the Christ life daily.

BELONG.

"Those who believed what Peter said were baptized and added to the church that day—about 3,000 in all. All the believers devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, and to fellowship, and to sharing in meals (including the Lord’s Supper), and to prayer." – Act 2:41-42 (NLT) It is important to belong to a church where the Bible is taught from the pulpit, in Sunday school classes, and other small group opportunities. It is also important to have the accountability and joy of fellowship and prayer with other believers.

BECOME.

We are always becoming, growing in our faith and ministry as Christ’s disciples. Don’t just take a seat in a pew or a chair, take a place of service and see how God can grow you and use you for his glory as He prepares you and others for eternity! "No, dear brothers and sisters, I have not achieved it, but I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us." – Philippians 3:13-14

“Join the journey!” Let this be our theme as we follow Jesus together.
